    The 3rd UIA Business and Human Rights Commission Summit for Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) was organised in Goa at the Goa Marriott Resort & Spa from 22nd to 23rd March 2013.


    Human rights are essential to achieving and sustaining development. The 2000 Millennium Declaration recognized the link between human rights, good governance and development.

    The summit renewed our commitment to a human rights-based development approach.

    KWC appointed PCO for the India Water Week 2013

    KW Conferences is proud to be appointed as the official PCO for the India Water Week 2013, a key annual policy and technology showcase event established by Ministry of Water Resources, Government of India.


    India Water Week 2013 will be organised between 8th to 12th April 2013 with the theme “Efficient Water Management: Challenges and Opportunities” and is expected to attract over 1200 delegates
    The event will have a conference cum policy dialogue forum coupled with a Business to Business exhibition organised professionally.

    The event would be attended by international and national delegates comprising of policy planners and technologists involved with Water Resources Management in all key sectors of economy like Agriculture and Irrigation, Energy and Industry and Drinking water supply.

    KW Services @ ISPO 2013 World Congress - Hyderabad

    Registration is one of the key areas on which the success of a conferences hinges upon. There are various components of this assignment - whether it be the first mail that informs the delegate about the event, or the information collected (the online form) or the ease of payment for registering. The most critical part of this process is the onsite registration of the event - when all the delegates arrive at pretty much the same time, and we develop efficient systems to minimize wait and maximize efficiency.

    At the recently concluded ISPO 2013 World Congress, we at KW Conferences culled the feedback from over 500 delegates and are extremely happy to observe that nearly 87% of our guests thought that the registration process ranked between good to excellent.

    When the organizers sought feedback from over 500 delegates who attended the ISPO World Congress in Hyderabad in the first week of February 2013  - nearly 64% of them told us that the entire event's organization was either excellent or very good .      KW Conferences was thanked for the excellent services rendered for the 10th International Conference on Rock Fragmentation by Blasting. We are deeply honoured to have received this wonderful commendation and we hope to offer our services to conferences and congresses in the future with the same dedication and commitment.

    Dear Ms Hazarika,
    As the Chairman of FRAGBLAST 10, it is my pleasure to communicate that KW Conferences Professional Conference Organizers (PCO) of the 10th International Symposium on Rock Fragmentation by Blasting – FRAGBLAST 10 which was held at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi in November 2012 has organized the conference with competence and ability, which contributed to the success of the Symposium. In particular the overall coordination for the numerous sessions, the workshops and other functions held in conjunction with several meetings made by KW Conferences was a valued contribution to the success of the Symposium.
    We are all impressed with the dedication and effort that KWC displayed in making the symposium a grand success. Without their skilful management, organizational skills and innovative ideas, this event would not have been such a grand success.


    The organisation of FRAGBLAST 10 was a complex one. A few noteworthy landmarks of the conference were:

    -        Four workshops were held on the two days preceding the symposium. The workshops were well attended, with over 300 delegates participating in them.
    -        Largest number of participants in the history of these conferences – over 700 professionals in the mining industry from 40 countries.
    -        The scientific sessions’ noteworthy milestones – over 200 papers were submitted, of which 100 were presented in 22 sessions over 4 days, by authors from 26 countries.
    -        For the first time, an online review system was implemented with two rounds of full-paper scrutiny – a system that was greatly appreciated.
    -        Five volumes of proceedings were published – four for the workshops and one for the symposium.

    The responsibilities showed by KWC as the local professional conference coordinator in many areas, including the coordination with Vigyan Bhavan for ensuring schedules and maintaining the facility, the complex abstract reviewing system, the social events, the transportation arrangements, recruitment and supervision of all local staff, were all carried out to our complete satisfaction. All the delegates were very happy with the trouble-free hotel accommodation arrangements made by you. Valued experience, dedication and hard work performed by KWC, was instrumental to the achievement of the result.

    We wish you and your colleagues all the best in your continued work in the organization of International and National events in future to the benefit of your clients and to your company. We hope to work with you in the near future too.

    The Da Vinci Robot - @AOICON 2013

    At the recently held Annual Conference of Association of Otolaryngologists of India (AOICON 2013) in Pune, India, Vattikutti Foundation showcased the Da Vinci SI Surgical Robotic System to the 1500 odd delegates present.
    Within a few hours of the show opening – all 300 odd slots of hands-on sessions of using the Da Vinci Robot were booked out.
    KW Conferences worked with Vattikutti Foundation to move the highly sensitive Da Vinci Robot from Bangalore to Pune for the event. The entire piece of equipment was about 2 tonnes with the heaviest of the crates being 800 odd kgs. With the robot setup at the venue - the doctors were able to try their hands at robotic surgery, many of them using the machine for the first time.

This event is expected to attract more than 1200 delegates, and and will be held in Gurgaon, NCR in 2013. The 1st World Summit on Echocardiography was held in Buenos Aires in 2011.
