KW Conferences gains association membership after 'seamless performance' in Hyderabad
India became the latest country to be represented in IAPCO – the International Association of Professional Congress Organisers – after KW Conferences was given the nod. The PCO organised the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property Exco and Forum 2011 in Hyderabad, which was attended by 662 delegates from 62 countries.
IAPCO Council member, Roslyn McLeod, who went to India to review the meeting, said the company excelled in difficult circumstances.
“I did not encounter one criticism,” she said. “Their performance was seamless despite the fact that they had to move social events due to predicted rain following on storms and floods. They will make a good member of IAPCO and bring credit within India due to their high standing."
Convention Linkage, based in Chiyoda-ku, Japan, was also admitted into IAPCO, bringing the number of individual members to 116 and the number of countries represented to 41. Two other applications for membership have been rejected this year and seven remain ‘pending’.

KW Conferences Successfully Organized “Vattikuti Global Robotics 2012: A Multispeciality Robotic Surgery Conference”
KW Conferences successfully organized the Vattikuti Global Robotics 2012 on 13-15 January, 2012 at the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi. This first ever event of its kind in India, attracted more than 350 delegates. Shri Montek Singh Ahluwalia – Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission, India inaugurated the event.
The event was a definitive multi-specialty surgery conference for the Indian surgeons’ community. The focus was specifically on robotic surgery in Urology, Pediatrics, Gynecology, Cardio Vascular, Peripheral Vascular, ENT, Head and Neck, Gastroenterology and General Surgery.
58 International Faculties - leaders in robotics surgery, gave live demonstrations, presentations,
shared experience and answered questions.
8 Interactive video transmissions of Live Robotic surgeries were telecast for the Conference Delegates at the Conference venue. These special transmissions were of surgeries performed by
Internationally-acclaimed expert surgeons at the Vattikuti Foundation Partner Institutes across India - Delhi (Medanta Hospital), Mumbai (Asian Heart Institute), Hyderabad (KIMS), Chennai
(Apollo) & Bengaluru (Manipal Hospital)
da Vinci Robotic system - Conference Delegates had an actual hands-on experience of operating the da Vinci Robotic system during simulated operations at the Conference venue under special arrangement
